Our primary aircraft
is the the Embraer 110 Bandeirante, aka
"Bandit".
Our
aircraft have been extensive modified to achieve greater
payload and reliability. They
provide 1,000 lbs. more payload and approximately
100 more useable cubic feet of volume than a Cessna Caravan. And with vastly simplified systems, it performs
with comparable economy and reliability. We operate 12 Bandeirante aircraft
today.
All of
the payload is carried in the main cabin. There are no pods,
nose compartments, or wing lockers. The Bandit
will load and pack more easily and will carry significantly
more freight than other aircraft which, on paper, have
comparable cubic capacity.
The
chart below compares the Bandit to other aircraft that rely on
pods, or, in the case of the Metro, a circular fuselage to
achieve a theoretical cubic capacity.
